People are trapped in Gaza, and they are suffering.

what can we do?

How can we really help? We've asked these questions, we've felt uncomfortably useless...and now that we've found an answer, we need to be useful.

Thanks to Operation Olive Branch, we have connected directly with a family in Gaza. Meet Mohammed and his family: his pregnant wife Islam, and their 2-year-old daughter Sara. Islam, approaching 8 months pregnant, needs essential perinatal care. She is malnourished, dehydrated, and requires a cesarean birth because of a previous pelvic injury. This is not something they have access to in their tent camp in Gaza, just northeast of Rafah. Their family, now displaced for a third time, is not guaranteed safety in these conditions, let alone access to their most basic needs. They need immediate help to evacuate from Gaza and get to Egypt.

We know the hearts of parents across the globe ache as they wonder "What can we possibly do?" Here's your answer. Here's something you can do, and someone you can directly help to save.

Laura lives in England (this is why the campaign is in British Pounds) and is managing the GoFundMe account as part of Operation Olive Branch. Having a campaign sponsor is a measure done to protect the family’s funds until they have enough to use the money for evacuation.
